A number of different kinds of analysis – both in my field of ecology and elsewhere – use distance matrices. For example, in a recent paper led by Ayesha Tulloch, we investigated how patterns of co-occurrence between pairs of species varied over space and time, and visualised our results using circleplot. Fundamentally, this package doesn’t do anything that you haven’t seen before; but it should give quick and (relatively) pleasing results.

My approach when writing this package was to allow users to call single function that could take a range of data types and return a useful result, while still allowing a reasonable degree of customization. This package is in active development, so expect changes to come; but you can view some information on how to use the package using the links below.
